Dwor was a planet located within the Dwor system, which itself was situated in the Steniplis sector of the Western Reaches region in the Outer Rim Territories. A SecuriDex datafile concerning the Filar-Nitzan spy Vacander, filed by a Rebel Alliance Task Force on Alliance Security around 2 ABY, identified Dwor as the final place he was known to be.
Alliance Intelligence Reports, a sourcebook published in 1995 by West End Games for their Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game, contained the first mention of Dwor. Later, in 2009, The Essential Atlas reference book specified the location of the Dwor system, and consequently Dwor itself, as being in grid square L-19.
