The Echo Base medical lab functioned as the healthcare facility within Echo Base located on Hoth. Its existence ceased when the base was obliterated in 3 ABY.
Features
This laboratory contained multiple rooms and was equipped with at least two medical droids, specifically 2-1B and FX-7, in addition to a bacta tank.
Following the total annihilation of his former squadron, known as the Deretta Destroyers, the starfighter pilot Tenk Lenso was moved from an Alliance to Restore the Republic medical frigate into the medical lab's bacta tank.
After enduring an attack by a wampa and spending numerous hours exposed to a frigid blizzard, Luke Skywalker received treatment there.
During the concluding phases of the Battle of Hoth, after a collapse in a cave compelled Leia Organa and Han Solo to utilize the Millennium Falcon to flee from the approaching Imperial forces, they made a brief stop at the medical lab. They successfully obtained medical supplies from the lab while on their way to the Falcon's hangar.
The destruction of the base occurred during the assault.
