EE-3 carbine rifle
The EE-3 carbine rifle functioned as a blaster weapon, designed with the E-11 blaster rifle, which was eventually used by Imperial stormtroopers, as its basis. It was characterized by a compact handle connected to an elongated, cylindrical barrel. It is known that at least a couple different versions of the EE-3 existed, one of which had a hand grip that extended along the barrel.
History

During the Clone Wars, the Zabrak bounty hunter Sugi made use of an EE-3. This weapon was also employed by Kiera Swan in the Box. Moreover, the EE-3 served as the standard weapon for the Mandalorian Protectors.
The bounty hunter Boba Fett primarily utilized the EE-3 as his main weapon. Fett enhanced his weapon by incorporating a stock along with an electronic scope designed for long-range shooting, which made it a formidable weapon. In an attempt to assassinate Luke Skywalker as he and his companions fled the Falleen's palace on Coruscant, Prince Xizor also used an EE-3.
Behind the scenes
Within Star Wars: Battlefront II, the rifle fires a burst of three shots. In the game's context, Fett's blaster shares the same model as the E-11 Blaster Rifle.
The prop that Boba Fett employs in the films is a modified Webley & Scott № 1 Mark "I" Flare Gun, which was originally manufactured for use by British soldiers during World War I. To transform it into the weapon of an intergalactic bounty hunter, the prop designers added a rifle scope, several detailed parts to the stock, and either an MPP Microflash or Heiland Synchronar flash unit that extended from the barrel's end. Furthermore, some blocky detail pieces were added in the space between the scope mounts and the gun's main body.

In the 2010 episode of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars television series titled "Bounty Hunters", a bounty hunter was depicted wielding an EE-3. Subsequently, the EE-3 made another appearance in the show during the episode The Box, and once more in Eminence.
During The Force Unleashed II novel, the barrel of the gun was severed by a clone of Starkiller.
In Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi, the Webley & Scott was utilized once more, although this time with additional detail, especially on the barrel. This was likely due to the prop's prominent role in the skiff battle scenes, where Luke Skywalker slices it in half with his lightsaber. The Heiland flash unit was removed, and a more robust barrel with ribbed hand grips was constructed directly over the existing flare gun barrel. The same scope was used, but it was mounted to point in the opposite direction of the Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back version. The scope was also positioned farther back on the gun and slightly lower. The blocky detail parts that were on the scope mounts were also removed.
