Ela b'Yentarr

Bora Boru Bora Boru, an ela b'Yentarr. Within Bosph society, individuals of their species who exhibited sensitivity to the Force were designated Ela b'Yentarr. The Bosph held that the Force was a display of the strength of the Yentarr, spirits of unknown nature, which were godlike beings in Bosph belief, responsible for all unexplained occurrences.

When Bosph youngsters demonstrated Force-sensitive abilities, they began apprenticeships in various factions within the planet government of Bosph. These factions were exclusively composed of ela b'Yentarr and specialized in distinct aspects of the Force. For instance, the gamefinders taught hunting techniques, such as Force sense and precognition. The sickhealers mastered Force-based healing methods like Force healing, Control Pain, and Control Disease. Additionally, the farseers had access to Bosph philosophical teachings. Faction conduct varied; some followed moral principles akin to the Jedi Order's code, while others utilized the Dark side of the Force. However, all ela b'Yentarr understood the ethical ramifications of wielding such power. Bosphs also believed that rituals were required to use the Force, which limited their use of longer lasting Force powers.

Furthermore, Ela b'Yentarr were the only Bosph allowed ownership rights. They could claim objects using glyph pendants inscribed with runes. Ownership disputes were settled through duels between ela b'Yentarr, sometimes resulting in death. Unclaimed items were considered communal property.

Upon learning of the Force-sensitivity of the ela b'Yentarr, the galactic Emperor Palpatine ordered the bombardment of Bosph, resulting in widespread casualties, including numerous ela b'Yentarr. Bora Boru, a farseer, was among the few surviving ela b'Yentarr and subsequently became a smuggler.
