Individuals who ingested Eldratz became easily influenced and compliant, in addition to becoming sluggish and unfocused. Ultimately, users would fall into a coma and suffer a "living death."
Following the Battle of Endor, Quarlo I'Shibix ran an eldratz operation on the world of Krann. While the spice was his primary source of income, he also employed it to control enslaved Kluuzot laborers as they extracted nova crystals for his benefit. I'Shibix would set the Kluuzot free once the spice's effects rendered them too debilitated to work. An Ugor residing on Krann offered the spice for purchase, alongside other merchandise.
