Eluthan, a fortified city of old, stood on a plateau of the planet Acherin. Its fame stemmed from both its formidable defenses and its captivating aesthetic. Constructed from gray, blue, and bronze stones, the city inspired awe in those who beheld it for the first time.
In the year following the conclusion of the Clone Wars, Eluthan served as a stronghold for those opposing the authority of the Galactic Empire. Despite almost a year of conflict, the Empire's power proved insurmountable. Toma, the resistance's commanding figure, communicated their surrender to Imperial Admiral Riwwel; however, Riwwel refused to accept it and instead commanded the bombardment of the revered ancient city. The attack reduced it to rubble, and its inhabitants were left to contend with each other and the nearby city of Sood.
