The pie known as Endorian chicken pot pie existed. Before its destruction during the initial two years of the Galactic Empire's rule, the restaurant called Dex's Diner on the world of Coruscant offered the pie. Dexter Jettster, the diner's proprietor, noted in his menu that he had never encountered a more peculiar animal than the pie's key component, Endorian chicken, but realized it had some value.
Alongside the chicken, the pie incorporated vegetables like celonslay, space-carrots, and Antarian peas, all encased in a delicate pom seed flour pastry. This pie was priced at 6.5 credits as a lunchtime option, accompanied by a side dish of the customer's choosing. Jettster described the Endorian chicken meat within the dish as being quite delectable.
The Endorian chicken pot pie was referenced in "Dining at Dex's," a 2009 article exclusively available through Hyperspace. Gregory Walker authored it, presenting it as a menu from within the fictional Star Wars universe.
