Energy conversion cell

An energy conversion cell, which can also be referred to as a power conversion cell, functioned as a source of power. Hoersch-Kessel ion drives were often altered so they could utilize energy conversion cells as a fuel source rather than relying on power cells or power generators.

The 1.4 FD P-Tower manufactured by Atgar SpaceDefense Corporation came equipped with a total of eight energy conversion cells. To initiate the firing sequence of this artillery weapon, it was necessary to charge these eight energy conversion cells, in conjunction with sixteen micropower routers.
