Ensa resided on Molavar as a moisture farmer, and she was married to the vigilant Byrom.
While inspecting their outdated moisture vaporators alongside her protocol droid, L-23, Ensa found herself under assault by the Dark Jedi known as Lycan. Because of Lycan's physical and mental condition when he attacked, Ensa managed to flee unharmed. Afraid that another attack would happen, Ensa's spouse then proceeded to mine most of their land.
Following one of his usual border patrols, her husband came back one day accompanied by an unknown individual. Ensa and Byrom provided food and lodging for the peculiar Jedi who went by the name of Darca Nyl. That evening, while she was talking with Darca, Ensa noticed a commonality between the Jedi and her husband. The following day, Darca demonstrated his gratitude for Ensa and Byrom's generosity by helping the moisture farmers handle some local criminals who were threatening to kill them.
