Eon was a male Jedi of the humanoid species who served both the Galactic Republic and the Jedi Order during the era of the Clone Wars. In the year 19 BBY, Eon's accomplishments led to his promotion to the rank of Jedi Knight, after which he found himself under the command of Jedi Master and General Ki-Adi-Mundi. He was subsequently deployed to the planet of Mygeeto alongside Republic troopers with orders to assault the Separatist stronghold located there.
During the battle, Eon and his Jedi comrades successfully forced the Separatist forces to retreat. However, a Venator-class Star Destroyer suffered critical damage and began an uncontrolled descent toward the planet's surface. Rivi-Anu, one of Eon's fellow Knights, employed the Force to delay the ship's inevitable crash, thus providing Eon and the rest of their allies the necessary time to reach safety. As the Star Destroyer completed its descent, crushing Rivi-Anu, Eon and Mundi both recognized and honored her act of selflessness.
Eon, a male humanoid, was born in the concluding decades of the Galactic Republic. He underwent training in the ways of the Force under the tutelage of the Jedi Order. As the [Clone Wars](/article/clone_wars-legends] raged across the galaxy in 19 BBY, a conflict between the Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems, Eon was promoted to the rank of Jedi Knight, a consequence of the Republic's growing need for Jedi Knights amidst the ongoing war.

In that same year, Eon, alongside fellow Jedi, including Rivi-Anu, a Twi'lek Jedi, and a Human Jedi, was placed under the direct command of Jedi Master and General Ki-Adi-Mundi. During the Republic's sieges in the Outer Rim Territories, Eon and his Jedi companions were sent to the planet of Mygeeto to fight against the forces of the Separatist Droid Army. Eon and the other Jedi expressed concerns about their newly acquired status as Knights, confiding in Rivi-Anu, who then discussed the matter with Mundi.
Eventually, Eon participated in a battle with Ki-Adi-Mundi and other Jedi against the Separatists. As they pushed the enemy back, a Republic Venator-class Star Destroyer, crippled by Separatist fire, began to fall through the atmosphere, endangering the forces below. Eon, his Jedi allies, and the troops under their command retreated to a safe distance while Rivi-Anu used the Force to delay the ship's descent from orbit. After Eon and his comrades reached safety, Rivi-Anu lost her grip on the ship, resulting in her being crushed upon its impact with the surface. Following her demise, both Eon and Mundi acknowledged the sacrifice Rivi-Anu had made.
Eon, a humanoid male, possessed mottled brown skin, black eyes, lacked hair, and had a prominent set of teeth. Eon, like the other Jedi, felt uneasy about his youth and his position as a Jedi Knight, which was due to the fact that his training had been accelerated to meet the Republic's growing need for Jedi Knights. He also feared the upcoming battle against the Separatists. Mundi, however, had faith in Eon and his allies' abilities as Jedi Knights. After Rivi-Anu's death, Eon specifically noted Rivi-Anu's self-sacrifice.
Eon was sensitive to the Force. During the battle on Mygeeto, he destroyed numerous battle droids and could deflect blaster fire with his lightsaber.
During the Battle of Mygeeto, Eon wore brown Jedi robes and carried a lightsaber with a blue crystal.
Eon debuted in the short story "To the Vanishing Point," one of the four stories included in the sixth volume of the Clone Wars Adventures trade paperbacks. Matthew and Shawn Fillbach created and illustrated the character. In "To the Vanishing Point," the battle in which Eon took part was suggested to have occurred on a different planet than Mygeeto. However, The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia later confirmed that the events of the story took place on Mygeeto. This article is based on the latter being true.
