Eredenn Station, situated on the distant world of Eredenn Prime, functioned as the primary military installation for the Galactic Republic. It served as the location where the classified Decimator weapon was being engineered. Close by were two additional Republic military sites: the Facet Test Site and the Shard Test Site. During the Clone Wars, Separatist General Sev'rance Tann launched an attack against Eredenn Station.
