Ertine

Ertine held the position of Chief of Security for Bartyn's Landing around the year 69 BBY, and at this time he was an elderly man. While formally employed by Outer Rim Oreworks, Chief Ertine also functioned as the constable for the inhabitants of the Landing, working alongside the Security Chief's Seconds.

During that era, the Landing and its adjacent territories were plagued by a band of marauders under the command of an alleged Jedi sorcerer referred to as The Padawan. The residents implored Chief Ertine to put an end to their activities. Ertine, accompanied by his Seconds, which included a youthful Mon Calamari former sailor named Mix Liddell, pursued The Padawan to the location where the gang was hiding.

Regrettably, The Padawan anticipated their arrival and strategically positioned his subordinates to waylay Ertine. With the exception of Liddell, who narrowly escaped with his life, Ertine and his Seconds were slain.

In time, Liddell was promoted to Chief, successfully apprehended The Padawan, and honored the former Chief by naming his speederboat Ertine.
