Following Darth Maul's and Savage Opress's rescue of his sister on Orto Norwe, they escorted her back to Esano on Pleem's Nexus, which was her place of birth. She advised Esano to comply with the brothers' demands, but he retorted that her death would make him the sole inheritor of the family's wealth. In response, the brothers killed both Esano and his associated personnel.
