Estat, a Twi'lek, held the position of sava within the Shadow University. Following the acquisition of a fossilized fork-nosed ice worm on Hoth by the renegade archaeologist Doctor Chelli Aphra, Aphra gave the specimen to Estat, receiving payment in return.
