The tenth installment in a series of comics featured on the LEGO Star Wars website, "Every brick has a beginning" serves as the conclusion to the narrative arc that began with "Always trust Secret Strategy #3". This comic was first made available on the LEGO Star Wars website in March of 2009. Later, on October 23, 2009, it was also added to the official Star Wars site.
"Every brick has a beginning"
The comic's story opens with the wreckage of two gunships, the Twilight, and Anakin Skywalker's personal starfighter after they have crashed on Felucia. Obi-Wan Kenobi exits one of the gunships, accompanied by clone troopers, while R2-D2 and Ahsoka Tano disembark from the starfighter and the Twilight, respectively. Soon after, the group hears Skywalker calling from atop a rib of a rancor skeleton. Asajj Ventress then shows up, using her lightsaber to sever the rib supporting Anakin. Following this, she commands a legion of battle droids to launch an assault on the group. Commander Cody and his troops join Obi-Wan, Anakin, and Ahsoka, and together they advance on the droids. The group initially fares well against the battle droids, but their progress is stopped by a homing spider droid. Suddenly, Plo Koon arrives with reinforcements from the second gunship. Plo immediately leaps onto the spider droid and disables it with his lightsaber. With the battle now won, Plo Koon is celebrated as a hero. Later, Anakin and Ahsoka discover Rotta inside the Twilight while one clone receives medical attention. At the same time, Cody informs Kenobi that Ventress has disappeared as a Nu-class attack shuttle lands. Everyone then gathers as Koon is presented with a medal and fireworks illuminate the sky. Elsewhere, on an unidentified vessel, Ventress communicates to Dooku via hologram, confirming that the Death Brick is secure. Dooku replies that the Jedi are unaware of its significance. The Death Brick is then revealed to be one of the many components utilized in the construction of the Death Star.
"THE END...?"
Throughout the comic, the colors of Ahsoka and Plo Koon's lightsabers inconsistently alternate between blue and green.
The comic's title likely references the tagline from The Phantom Menace: "Every Saga Has a Beginning".
