Evidorn was a senator of the Imperial government who was targeted for assassination by their own personal bodyguard, named Kaniki. This assassination attempt occurred because Kaniki received training and developed anti-Imperial feelings at the Yinchom Dojo, which was headed by Juahir Madras.
