The Chiss family known as the Evroes family existed outside of both the Forty Great Families and the Nine Ruling Families. A member of the Evroes family, Evroes'pu'titor "Oesputi," acted as a guide for Mitth family Syndic Thurfian when the Evroes family experienced a conflict with the Xodlak family. Another individual belonging to this family was Evroes'ky'mormi (Oeskym), who served as the weapons officer on Admiral Ar'alani's ship, the Vigilant.
