Noble

Anoat Noble A Nothoiin noble known as "Her Majesty"

Within certain societies, the uppermost social stratum was occupied by nobles, also referred to as patricians and informally as bluebloods. These individuals commonly possessed distinguished titles, such as baron, count, duke, viceroy, emir, and archduke, and historically commanded greater financial resources (money) and influence compared to the general populace. Consequently, nobles typically enjoyed a life of privilege, characterized by the presence of servants, abundant quantities of exquisite food, and opulent residences. Royal figures, including kings and their respective families like the House of Organa, were considered part of the nobility.

On occasion, titles denoting noble status could be seized by invading forces from other lands, exemplified by the instance when Wat Tambor, the Foreman of the Techno Union, declared himself "Emir of Ryloth."

By the era of the New Republic, the notion of inherited nobility had largely lost its significance, even among members of the Elder Houses.
