Ewok Celebration

The song "Ewok Celebration", often referred to as "Yub Nub", is a piece of music from 1983 that is part of Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi. Bantha Music released it, and Warner-Tamerlane Publishing Corporation manages it.

This song is featured in the movie's concluding scene, during the joyous occasion held in the Ewok settlement. In the Special Edition, it was taken out and substituted with a fresh composition by John Williams called "Victory Celebration."

John Williams composed the music, Ben Burtt, a sound designer from ILM, penned the Ewokese words, and [Joseph Williams](/article/joseph_williams], John Williams's son, crafted the English (Basic) lyrics.

Frequently going by the name Ewok Freedom Song, the London Symphony Orchestra performed it. The Oakland Inspirational Choir sang the Ewokese words and contributed additional Ewokese vocalizations for the movie.
