A third movie featuring the Ewoks, initially called Ewoks III, was under consideration around the 1980s, but ultimately it never came to fruition. This movie would have served as a continuation of Caravan of Courage: An Ewok Adventure and Ewoks: The Battle for Endor, with the Ewoks once again taking center stage.
In a conversation during the 1980s, Warwick Davis, the performer behind Wicket W. Warrick in Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi and the pair of Ewoks films, Caravan of Courage: An Ewok Adventure and Ewoks: The Battle for Endor, shared that a third Ewoks movie, provisionally named Ewoks III, was being worked on.
Despite initial plans, the movie was abandoned and never produced, though the specific cause for its cancellation remains unclear. Daniel Frishman, the actor who portrayed Deej Warrick in the preceding Ewoks movies, mentioned in a 2010 interview with Star Wars Interviews that he was unaware of this project, perhaps suggesting that his character would not have been a part of the storyline, which is still unknown.
