Falud

Falud was a dedicated Rebel operative, a Selonian, who carried out missions on Vorzyd V, a planet situated in the Outer Rim, during the time of the Galactic Civil War. Despite Falud's deep commitment to the Rebel cause, even to the point of sacrificing his life, his son Choyd held opposing views, associating himself with the infamous criminal group, the Freelies. In 1 ABY, Imperials apprehended Falud along with prominent Rebel figures Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa Solo, and a fellow Rebel named Paxin. However, Skywalker's droids, specifically C-3PO and R2-D2, were able to free the group from their restraints, enabling them to overpower the stormtrooper guards and take possession of their weaponry. As the group attempted to escape, they were quickly confronted by another squad of stormtroopers, and tragically, Falud was hit by a blaster shot, which resulted in his death.

Behind the scenes

Falud's sole appearance occurred in the Star Wars Legends timeline within Gambler's World, a comic strip narrative created by Russ Manning that was published in 1979.
