The Feather Nebula, located in the Outer Rim Territories, was a nebula where a battle occurred in 17 BBY as the Galactic Empire conducted its retaking of that area. Later, the events were depicted in the holodrama titled The Charge at Feather Nebula.
The designation for both the nebula and its associated conflict allude to the Western movie The Charge at Feather River, notable for being the first use of the audio clip known as the Wilhelm scream.
