The Fett homestead served as the residence for the Fett family located on Concord Dawn, and it was also where Jango Fett spent his early years. The Mandalorian Civil War spread to their land in 58 BBY. The Journeyman Protector of Concord Dawn, who was Jango's father, sheltered Mandalore [Jaster Mereel] from Vizsla, the leader of the Death Watch, who sought to harm him.
As an act of revenge, Vizsla killed both of Jango's parents and razed their farm to the ground. Jango managed to get away, but the Death Watch captured Arla.
