Fia, a Human endowed with Force-sensitivity, toiled as a crew member aboard a garbage scow situated on Raxus Prime. She was ignorant of her innate connection to the Force until Till'in, a Jedi Master of the Kel Dor species, encountered her during his travels. Initially afraid of the Kel Dor's unusual features, Fia discharged her blaster at the Jedi Master, who effortlessly repelled the shot. Ashamed by her actions, Fia accepted the Jedi's proposition to receive training in the Force at the Jedi Temple located on Tython. Following her induction into the Jedi Order as a Padawan, Fia persistently sent letters expressing her remorse to Master Till'in, much to his irritation.
