The conflict that took place on Immalia was a part of the Galactic Civil War, pitting the Galactic Empire against the Rebel Alliance on the planet of Immalia. This battle occurred before the well-known Battle of Yavin. The Rebel forces withdrew when they observed Imperial radiation zone assault troopers approaching, under the mistaken impression that the battlefield was contaminated with radiation. It was only afterward that the Rebels discovered the truth: the Imperials were simply equipped with radtrooper armor on that particular day, rendering their retreat entirely unnecessary.
