The musical group known as Figrin D'an and the Modal Nodes, consisting of seven members, played gigs at locations such as Chalmun's Spaceport Cantina located on the planet Tatooine and also at the H'unn Cabaret Pit found on Nar Kaaga. Their performances occurred during the time of the Galactic Empire. This band was known for a number of well-received songs, including a track called "Mad About Me."
Within the 1977 film Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, one can observe seven Bith musicians playing music on the cantina stage. Additionally, an eighth Bith is shown seated in a booth close by. The 2011 Star Wars Legends work titled Star Wars Character Encyclopedia initially identified Sun'il Ei'de as the seventh Bith who was present on the stage in the movie.
