The communications tower of the Avenger
The communications tower was an element present on both the Imperial II-class Star Destroyers and the enhanced Imperial I-class Star Destroyers. This structure was positioned atop the conning tower, nestled in the space between a pair of deflector shield generator globes. It took the place of the tractor beam targeting array which previously occupied that location on the original Imperial I-class vessels.
