A Rebel Alliance heavy weapon specialist
A heavy weapon specialist was a position, that existed in the infantry of various armies for thousands of years. Due to their training and expertise, several soldiers handled heavy weaponry with notable proficiency and as such, were assigned to the positions where such skills could be put to greater use. In the Grand Army of the Republic, Clone trooper commander Jet served as a heavy-weapons specialist, trained in the use of gear such as flamethrowers and fire-resistant armor.
