"Finn and the Busted Droids – Chapter 1", an episode in the Star Wars Roll Out series of animated shorts, marks the eleventh installment. It premiered on YouTube on October 18, 2019.
The opening sequence features BB-8 and a Star Wars themed ball leading the charge, followed by Rey, Maz Kanata, Finn, Captain Phasma, a pair of stormtroopers, Ben Solo, Han Solo, Chewbacca, and a trio of porgs.
A Resurgent-class Star Destroyer is in orbit around a crimson planet. On the planet's craggy terrain, Captain Phasma commands the stormtroopers belonging to the FN Corps to ascend a rocky slope. Finn stumbles as he climbs, dislodging his helmet, which strikes the top of Captain Phasma's helmet. Phasma glares at him, and Finn lowers his head in shame. Subsequently, Phasma instructs the stormtroopers to engage a large, green, fire-breathing, four-legged creature. The stormtroopers leap onto the beast. Finn ends up on its head, singeing Phasma's armor.
Later, the stormtroopers, along with Phasma, transport the creature from an Atmospheric Assault Lander into the Star Destroyer's hangar. At that moment, the creature escapes its restraints and emits another burst of flames. Finn rushes in with a foam extinguisher, covering everyone in foam. The stormtroopers restrain the creature, but Finn, being careless, accidentally sprays Captain Phasma with foam.
Having reached her limit with Finn's blunders, Captain Phasma orders Finn to use a vacuum to clean the hangar. Three of his fellow stormtroopers throw cream and rations at him while mocking him. Finn complains. He then employs a hoversled to push trash into a garbage chute. However, the door malfunctions. While attempting to fix the controls, Finn is pulled down the chute and lands on a garbage heap. Finn detects movement in the darkness and runs, only to trip. Several dim lights move closer to him.
