Fire Lichen, a species of lichen, grew on the rocky surfaces of Dathomir. Its survival on the harsh, nutrient-poor planet was attributed to its minimal nutritional requirements, although it was not considered a food source. Furthermore, its exceptional durability made it virtually impossible to detach from the stone. The Nightbrothers residing on Dathomir employed specialized climbing claws to navigate areas covered with this tenacious lichen.
