The Phelarion-class fuel tanker represented a specific type of fuel tanker that was produced by Rendili StarDrive. This class of vessel was characterized by the presence of two sizable, externally mounted fuel tanks, along with a quartet of fusion engines positioned at its rear. Furthermore, it incorporated a deflector shield for protection, and a hangar capable of housing a minimum of three T-70 X-wing starfighters. During the year 34 BBY, a Phelarion-class tanker, engaged in transporting fuel intended for the Resistance, was seized by the First Order. These adversaries not only appropriated the fuel cargo but also configured the vessel to function as a bomb, with the objective of attacking the Resistance base.
