Fire Rings of Fornax

A remarkable sight in the galaxy was the Fire Rings of Fornax, alternatively called the Five Fire Rings of Fornax. These rings gave the planet Fornax the appearance of being surrounded by five blazing rings.
History
The rings were, in reality, solar flares drawn to the planet because of its close location to its star. Pirates were known to engage in deadly duels within these fiery rings, ensuring that no one could escape without being burned.
Because these rings were a naturally occurring phenomenon and not made by sentient beings, Vicendi did not include them on his list of the Twenty Wonders of the Galaxy in 10,000 BBY. The side dish known as Fornax rings gets its name from this natural wonder.
