The individual holding the title of Five World Deputy Prime Minister functioned as the second-in-command to the Five World Prime Minister. In 40 ABY, Denjax Teppler occupied this role and stepped in as the acting Prime Minister following the assassinated death of the Prime Minister, Aidel Saxan.
The book Legacy of the Force: Betrayal, released in 2006, alludes to this position when it calls Teppler "Saxan's Deputy".
