Flare gun

A Flare gun A flare pistol, otherwise known as a flare gun, was a type of equipment utilized for launching a flare into the sky. This was done to signal for assistance during times of distress, or to make others aware of the user's current location. Following the Battle of Alderaan, a multitude of Republic troopers employed flare guns to notify the Republic Navy after their triumph over the Sith Empire on the planet of Alderaan.
