Flashfly
Flashflies, winged beings, possessed the ability to soar through the air. Circa 19 BBY, the Chiss sky-walker named Che'ri created drawings of flashflies and birds using coloring implements. Considering these drawings, along with Che'ri's aerial perspective landscapes, Senior Captain Mitth'raw'nuruodo inferred that the sky-walker harbored a desire for flight. Although Che'ri initially disputed Thrawn's interpretation, asserting that children depicted flashflies due to their aesthetic appeal, she eventually conceded her aspiration to fly. The larval stage of fireflies is spent in a cocoon before hatching.
