Fleet Command, a space station featuring a detachable annex, orbited the planet Mon Calamari. This station served as the headquarters for both New Republic Fleet Command and Galactic Alliance Fleet Command during the concluding stages of the Yuuzhan Vong War, a period when the world acted as the capital for the New Republic and the Galactic Alliance.
