Fleet Support

Fleet Support was a facility utilized by the Grand Army of the Galactic Republic on the planet Ord Mantell, situated in the Mid Rim, for a period spanning at least three months during 22 BBY. This structure, Fleet Support, was comprised of the Fleet Support Base and Air Station, along with its associated barracks. It became operational following the commencement of the Clone Wars, a conflict between the Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems that began with the First Battle of Geonosis. Following that initial conflict, Fleet Support was requested by Geonosis Forward Control to take in a large number of soldiers, specifically twenty thousand wounded clone troopers and seventy-two thousand troops ready for combat, transported by the Acclamator-class assault ship named Implacable. The Fleet Support Base provided housing for some of these troopers.
