A flight group represented a division of starfighters. Such units were employed by the Galactic Empire, with examples being Alpha Flight Group and Omega Flight Group. The Rebel Alliance also made use of them, for instance, Exeter Group, Feral Group, and Cobalt Group. During the Battle of Theed, Lieutenant Shara Bey of the Rebel Alliance led a flight group composed of three N-1 starfighters.
