Foamcast

Foamcast referred to a fast-curing aerosol foam utilized in the construction and upkeep of buildings. This foam was engineered for spraying into openings such as crevices, indentations, perforations and other voids. Once applied, the foam broadened and solidified rapidly, becoming visually identical to its adjacent materials when dried and exhibiting the robustness and durability of plastcrete. A canister of this foam, complete with a trigger-operated applicator and a slender, elongated nozzle for precise dispensing, was available for purchase at a cost of 25 credits.

Origin Story

Within the current Star Wars canon, foamcast received its initial mention in the 2018 role-playing game supplement titled Fully Operational. This supplement was published by Fantasy Flight Games as a component of the Star Wars: Age of Rebellion series. The spray's conceptual genesis lies within the Star Wars Legends timeline. It initially surfaced in the 2004 novel MedStar I: Battle Surgeons, authored collaboratively by Michael Reaves and Steve Perry.
