Folor Base was an installation utilized by the Imperial forces. It was located on Folor, which itself is a moon orbiting the planet Commenor. This base was active during the initial stages of the Galactic Civil War. The base housed TIE fighters. In the year 0 BBY, some of these TIE fighters took off from the base. Their mission was to prevent Rebel Rogue Squadron from successfully fleeing the system while transporting a shipment of smuggled astromech droids.
