Force-sculpture


Force-sculpture Master Wishan practicing Force-sculpture in front of Jabe Rann Force-sculpture represented an artistic practice. This practice involved shaping matter to create three-dimensional forms through the power of the Force. Near the conclusion of the Republic Era, Jedi Master Veleckra instructed students in the ways of Force-sculpture at the Jedi Temple situated on Coruscant. The Duros Jedi Master named Wishan also practiced Force-sculpting, employing dark red clay to construct a diverse array of figures. These figures included a greater krayt dragon, a tower structure, a miniature rendition of the Jedi Temple, and even a small likeness of the young Jedi Jabe Rann, complete with his signature lightsaber.

Production Notes

The initial appearance of Force-sculpture within the current Star Wars canon occurred in Dooku: Jedi Lost, a 2019 audio drama authored by Cavan Scott. The visual depiction of this artistic expression was first presented in the first episode of Star Wars: Jedi Temple Challenge within an animated flashback segment, also penned by Scott. Within the Star Wars Legends continuity, Force-sculpture made its debut in the 2002 novel titled The Approaching Storm, written by Alan Dean Foster. It was formally identified as Force-sculpture in the 2004 novel MedStar II: Jedi Healer, a collaborative work by Michael Reaves and Steve Perry.
