Force Harvester

An ancient Sith relic, the Force Harvester functioned as a power source for the Dark Reaper superweapon. This large, swirling globe generated a devastating form of purple energy. This energy sapped the living force from any being within its vicinity, creating a concentrated form of dark side energy to fuel the Dark Reaper. Notably, it could not drain a wound in the Force. When active, the Harvester emitted a vibrant purple luminescence. Originally, Exar Kun conceived the device to power the Dark Reaper during the Old Sith Wars. However, Jedi Knight Ulic Qel-Droma discovered its existence, leading to clues about both the Reaper and the Harvester being scattered across the galaxy.

For millennia, the Force Harvester remained concealed beneath layers of space debris on the junkyard planet of Raxus Prime. During the Clone Wars, the Confederacy of Independent Systems unearthed the device and fled the planet with it just before the Conquest of Raxus Prime.

The Force Harvester was transported to the moon of Alaris Prime, situated within the Kashyyyk system, where it was tested on the local Wookiee tribes. Anakin Skywalker and Bera Kazan managed to escape the Harvester using a stolen STAP and alerted Republic forces to the threat. Despite their efforts, the Dark Reaper crisis continued, as Count Dooku absconded with the Harvester and deployed it on various worlds, including Mon Calamari, Agamar, and Bakura. Once sufficiently charged, Count Dooku journeyed to the moon orbiting the remote planet of Thule. There, it was affixed to the Dark Reaper's underside, reactivating the ancient Sith weapon after thousands of years.

During the Battle of Thule, Anakin Skywalker targeted the Harvester during the final confrontation with the Dark Reaper. His blaster fire struck the Harvester, causing the Reaper's subsequent collapse.
