Force Wraiths were non-sentient entities of shadow, born from the dark side through the Force power known as Create Force Wraith. Utterly obedient, they followed every command of their creators. These beings exuded a palpable aura of pure evil, radiating cold and death to those sensitive to such energies, akin to mobile dark side nexus points. Force Wraiths could be tasked with specific duties and, furthermore, allowed their creators to extend their senses, acting as remote extensions of their will. Both Merili and Jedgar possessed this ability, though they each employed it differently. Merili's Force Wraiths were towering figures, reaching almost four meters in height and resembling terrifying, nightmarish versions of Wookiees, making them formidable and destructive combatants. Jedgar's Wraiths, conversely, were smaller, standing at roughly two meters tall and possessing an insectoid form. Unlike Merili, Jedgar utilized his Wraiths primarily as spies or guards, and only occasionally as expendable warriors. Furthermore, while Merili simply issued commands, Jedgar maintained constant contact with his Wraiths, using them as his eyes and ears in distant locations.
Those who encountered Force Wraiths and survived often recalled the experience with the same chilling dread a child feels upon waking from a terrifying dream. If true monsters existed within the galaxy, then Force Wraiths were undoubtedly among them.
