The Forensics Unit, which was also referred to as the Forensics Service, functioned as the criminal evidence division under the jurisdiction of the Coruscant Security Force.
The personnel of the Forensics Unit consisted of Scenes of Crimes Officers along with Crime scene investigation droids. Furthermore, they maintained a morgue located within the CSF Headquarters.
