Tresina Lobi was a Jedi Master of the Chev species, and a female, who fought for the light side during the conflict with the Yuuzhan Vong. She was known for her exceptional ability to disappear into any crowd.
During the time of the Yuuzhan Vong War, Lobi was training Thrynni Vae to become a Jedi as her apprentice. A year into the war, Vae disappeared while on a mission to Duro, prompting Lobi to seek the assistance of Luke Skywalker in locating her. Unfortunately, they discovered that Vae had been murdered by the treacherous Peace Brigade. Despite the tragic loss of her apprentice, Lobi uncovered that supplies intended for refugees on Duro were being diverted to the floating settlement of Urrdorf City.
Four years into the war, Master Skywalker selected her to serve on the High Council, where she became a strong advocate for the principles of the New Jedi Order. During the final battle against the Yuuzhan Vong on Yuuzhan'tar, Lobi joined many other Jedi in defending Zonama Sekot against the threat of Alpha Red.
In the years following the Yuuzhan Vong War, specifically five years after, Lobi accompanied Leia and Han Solo on a mission to locate the Dark Nest. There, she fought against the Gorog Killiks on the planet Kr. During the discussions on whether Corran Horn should take over leadership of the Jedi Order while Luke was away, Lobi sided with Horn. As the Killik expansion reached its final stages, Lobi led a StealthX squadron of Jedi starfighters in an assault against Lomi Plo and her Dark Nest, resulting in severe burns from a crash. The exact cause of the crash remains unclear.
During the time of the Second Galactic Civil War, Lobi was tasked with keeping a close watch on Ben Skywalker, particularly after it became known that Lumiya had resurfaced. This assignment led her to the Fellowship Plaza, situated in the heart of Coruscant's Senatorial District. There, she secretly listened to a conversation between Jacen Solo and Ben Skywalker, followed by a revealing exchange between Jacen Solo and Lumiya.
Before she could send a message to Luke about Lumiya's pursuit of Ben, Alema Rar, who was also secretly listening to Jacen Solo, detected her presence. A fierce duel ensued, during which Lobi severed Lumiya's cybernetic arm and managed to hold her own against both women. Eventually, Lumiya and Rar gained the upper hand; Lumiya used her lightwhip to sever Lobi's legs from behind, after which Rar swiftly decapitated the Jedi Master, feeling that she had fought valiantly and suffered enough. The following morning, a gardener droid discovered her body.
In the year 44 ABY, Grand Master Luke Skywalker caught a glimpse of Lobi in the Lake of Apparitions while searching for his deceased wife, Mara Jade Skywalker, but he did not stop to speak with her.
In the novel The New Jedi Order: Destiny's Way, Lobi was mistakenly identified and described as a Chevin. The 2002 Star Wars Insider article titled Who's Who in the New Jedi Order stated that Lobi was the first member of the Chev species to develop Force-sensitivity. However, this statement was later contradicted by the 2004 role-playing adventure A Mon Alone, which featured a Force-sensitive Chev named Drik, who was active during the Clone Wars.
