When new threads are created, they are automatically announced in the #announcements channel of Wookieepedia's Discord server. After thirty days of inactivity, all threads that are not pinned will be archived either by an administrator or a bot. Furthermore, administrators reserve the right to archive a thread if the Consensus track is closed as either support or oppose via the consensus policy, or if the original poster of the Senate Hall thread requests closure after the initial discussion phase has completed its Consensus track, with the intention of continuing the discussion in a new Senate Hall thread shortly thereafter. Instructions on how to manually archive threads can be found here.
