Françoise Mouly

Françoise Mouly, born on October 24, 1955, is known as a comic book creator, having contributed to several editions of the Marvel Star Wars comic series. Together with her spouse, Art Spiegelman, she established the influential underground comic anthology titled RAW during the latter part of the 1970s. Since 1993, she has served as the art editor for The New Yorker. More recently, Mouly and Spiegelman initiated a Raw Junior segment and also worked together on Little Lit, a comic anthology designed specifically for children.
