Publisher's summary

The giant reptile known as the Behemoth is causing destruction, and perhaps the only hope for a small village lies with Han Slo [sic].

Plot summary

To defend the village of Onacra from the wicked Cloud-Riders, the Old One has called forth the Behemoth, a massive reptilian monster. Serji-X Arrogantus, who leads the Cloud-Riders, realizes that his group is no match for the creature and that the old shaman is controlling it. He then launches an attack upon the Old One, but the Behemoth is fast enough to react and kill Serji-X. However, the shaman also dies, which causes the monster to go on a rampage. The other members of the Star-Hoppers of Aduba-3 scatter for safety, and the aspiring Jedi Knight Don-Wan Kihotay attempts to subdue the enormous beast by himself. Hedji tries to assist him, but the monster easily kills him. Han Solo hurries to help Kihotay and uses Kihotay's lightsaber to eliminate the Behemoth, thus saving the village.

In a parallel storyline, Leia Organa is searching the Drexel system for Luke Skywalker, from whom there has been no communication since his last transmission was cut off.
