Rick Hoberg


Rick Hoberg, a comic book artist, hails from Belton, Texas. He contributed to the Marvel Star Wars comic series by inking several issues and creating covers for the title.

His career in the comics industry began in the mid-1970s when he assisted Russ Manning on the early Star Wars and Tarzan comic strips for newspapers. During the 1980s, he lent his talents to various DC Comics titles, including The Brave and the Bold and Batman.

Additionally, he has produced production sketches and merchandise artwork for Lucasfilm, which includes illustrations for multiple editions of The Empire Strikes Back Coloring Book. Hoberg has also been involved in animation, working for companies such as Hanna-Barbera and DiC Entertainment.
