Galactic Republic space station
This orbital installation served as a base of operations for the Galactic Republic around 22 BBY. Its purpose seemingly included functioning as both a command center and a deployment zone.
Characteristics
The orbital base seemingly possessed installations of significant size, capable of accommodating a large number of starfighters along with capital ships.
Details regarding the station's internal configuration are scarce; however, it is known to have contained a holoprojection room of considerable size.
History
Following their defeat during the Evacuation of Rhen Var, and the subsequent loss of the planet to the Confederacy of Independent Systems, a group of Acclamator-class assault ships and Jedi interceptors paused at this station. It was at this location that Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker received instructions from Jedi Masters Mace Windu and Yoda concerning their assignment to capture Raxus Prime.
